UK Forks takes its name from the fact that we are a rental provider of rough terrain straight-mast forklift trucks and telescopic handlers. We also supply the associated attachments to our customer base which are the major house builders and construction companies across mainland Britain. Our main brand of machine we have on our fleet is JCB, but we also have equipment from Manitou and Dieci.
Our machines are specified to work on building sites and the telehandlers range from a lift height of 4 metres to 25 metres. Like many of the other Vp services, these machines are supplied without personnel so the hirer will need a specialist licence to operate the machine. We do offer training through a third party and all machines can, when they are delivered, have a familiarization.
We have depots located across the country, but our customers call one free-phone number which directs them to the hire desk in Harrogate (or if they are calling from a Scottish std code, their call is directed to the Glasgow hire desk). The Hire desk deals with all bookings as well as any service related calls (breakdowns etc) which co-ordinates the delivery and collection of machines and responses from our mobile repair personnel.
